Home physiotherapy service
Service for people affected by some type of neurodegenerative dementia, after an assessment by the physiotherapist.
Depending on the assessment and clinical history, an individualised therapeutic plan and follow-up is established.
Home guidelines are established and different realities of the user are evaluated: muscle tone, risk of falling, difficulty in transfers, respiratory and vascular pathologies, pain, gait and movement disorders, mainly.
Objectives
- To care for people affected by some type of neurodegenerative dementia in order to improve their quality of life, their autonomy and reduce their dependence.
- Treat any musculoskeletal pathology that the user may suffer from.
- To try to counteract the progressive reduction of mobility.
- To provide knowledge to the patient-caregiver binomial so that they are able to carry out the exercises when necessary.
