Home based-care service
The Home Care Programme was set up to offer help and support to family carers at home and to enable the patient to remain in their own environment for as long as possible. The association offers various types of support in the home:
Home Help Service (SAD)
This is mainly dedicated to the personal care and grooming of the sick person. In addition, the assistant also provides training in care for the caregivers. This service is offered from Monday to Friday in the morning.
Cognitive Stimulation Service at the Home
Tablets and specific stimulation software called GRADIOR are used. This service is made up of a health psychologist, technical staff in auxiliary care, a social worker and administrative staff.
Break Service ‘Sporadic Saturdays’
Unlike the previous service, this service is provided on Saturdays with a continuous schedule of 4 to 6 hours at a time, which allows the family member to enjoy a short period of rest.
Home Help Service ‘Break’.
Continuing with the initial criterion of service provision, in this case it is offered from Monday to Friday in the afternoon. Its purpose is to provide family members with a few hours of free time so that they can carry out specific activities that they were previously unable to do due to their responsibility of caring for a person with Alzheimer’s or other dementia.
