Our projects
Alzheimer's Innovation Centre
Creation and implementation of a global, interdisciplinary and cutting-edge response to Alzheimer's disease and other types of neurodegenerative dementias, from a cross-cutting perspective throughout the disease cycle, even before the first outward symptoms appear.
Living space
Creation and implementation of a global, interdisciplinary and cutting-edge response to the new challenges that arise due to the increased longevity and diagnosis of dementias. This response is achieved through the implementation of various programmes in the same place, the 'Living space'.
Prevention programmes
The "Cultiva a Mente" workshop is a project for the prevention of neurodegenerative deterioration at cognitive, emotional, physical, functional and social levels. Participants play an active role in this programme, providing useful feedback for day-to-day life.
Research Projects
Through research, we seek advances and treatments that improve the lives of people affected by these diseases and their families. Now, we would like to invite your company to be part of this important effort by funding research projects that will bring new knowledge and hope.
Cognitive Stimulation
AFAGA is developing the Cognitive-Functional Stimulation Workshops Programme with the aim of maintaining the skills, knowledge and behaviours that people with Alzheimer's or other neurodegenerative dementia still possess.
