Atlántida School delivers financial contribution to Afaga Alzheimer

  • The 1,250 euros raised will go entirely to therapeutic care for people with Alzheimer’s or some other type of dementia.

The students, their families and the staff of the C.P.R. Miltilingual Atlántida de Vigo, as part of a solidarity campaign, drew up illustrations to make a calendar that it put up for sale. With this, they were able to raise funds to invest in the therapeutic care of people with dementia at the Vigo Center for Comprehensive Care for Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias, which belongs to Afaga Azlheimer.

Thanks to this campaign in which all the center’s staff, students and their families have actively participated, € 1,250 has been raised, which will be allocated entirely to the therapeutic care of people with dementia at the Afaga Comprehensive Dementia Care Center Alzheimer in Vigo.

This initiative, which had the active participation of the entire school, is among the many awareness-raising and social participation actions that Afaga Alzheimer carries out in the community, with the aim of making this reality known and thus interest in participating in activities that include this group is awakened in the community.
