What is Afaga Alzheimer?

“The Galician Association for Family Members of Alzheimer’s and Dementia Patients” (Afaga Alzheimer) is a non-profit organisation founded to carry out a series of activities aimed at improving the quality of life of both people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia  and their family members. It also provides information, advice and guidance upon request.

Mission

“The protection of the rights of both the people living with Alzheimer’s and neurodegenerative dementia and their family members. To do so, we provide specialized and prevention services and also develop social awareness activities.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                          *Understanding that awareness includes the training, the research, the speeches, etc. Care service for people living without Alzheimer’s will be comprised within prevention.
